The Lennemann Lab is located in the Department of Microbiology in the UAB Heersink School of Medicine. Our research is focused on the cellular and molecular biology of positive stranded RNA viruses, particularly astroviruses and flaviviruses. We use innovative reporter systems and imaging techniques to study the functions of viral proteins and interactions with the host cell.
