Khanal Lab receives myopia grant

Khanal lab received a two-year myopia research grant totaling $250,000 from the American Academy of Optometry/Reality Labs Research.

Dr. Safal Khanal received the 2022 Career Development Award from the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Khanal is the first UAB faculty member and one of only six faculty members nationwide to receive this honor since its inception in 2015.
