At-Home Cervical Cancer Screening Study
Enrollment ended January 31, 2022.
This study is remote and can be done from the comfort of your own home. Individuals enrolled in the study will have an HPV test kit mailed to their homes. Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire about the acceptability and usability of the test and then mail their completed kits back to UAB to be analyzed. A small compensation is included for participation.
Eligibility
- African American women or women living in rural areas of Alabama
- Between the ages 30-64 years
- Have not had a Pap test in 3.5 years
- Not pregnant
- Do not have a history of a hysterectomy
