In the Guo laboratory, we are interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms driving the growth of glioblastoma (GBM), which is known as the most devastating form of adult brain cancer. GBM poses a significant challenge in the field of oncology due to its rapid progression, high recurrence rates, and resistance to conventional therapies. We aim to dissect the oncogenic signaling pathways responsible for the progression of GBM, with the goal of identifying chemical inhibitors targeting the specific signaling pathways as novel therapeutic drugs against GBM.
