Englund Lab

The Englund Lab works to better understand the mechanisms underpinning skeletal muscle loss and dysfunction during aging and disease. In particular, we have a strong interest in studying cellular senescence as a mediator of skeletal muscle health. We use cell culture, mouse models, and human tissue together with advanced molecular techniques to pursue our goals.
