Medical Student
Short Bio:
Gianina completed her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. She is a second year medical student at San Juan Bautista School of Medicine and has done clinical research in the Pediatric Critical Care area. Also, she’s currently working with Dr. Chen’s team in the surgical field researching hyperparathyroidism in thyroid surgery patients. Trying new restaurants, going to the beach, and dancing salsa are part of her hobbies. She aspires to specialize in the field of surgery and continue to work in clinical research studies that improve the quality of patient care
