In his role as Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration Mr. Daniel ensures organizational alignment in the areas of finance, human resources, facilities, communications and compliance for the Heersink School of Medicine (HSOM). He participates in strategic planning and collaborate with the university and health system on all administrative and financial activities. He has worked with countless faculty and staff across the HSOM, allocating and approving budgets, conducting financial forecasting, interpreting policies, and managing federal regulations regarding funded research. He collaborates with our health system colleagues and SOM department administrators and plays an integral role in SOM leadership recruitments and retentions.
