I am interested in launching the COVID-19 Testing Program at an Alabama preschool, daycare, or childcare center. What should I do?
Although Alabama hasn’t received specific funding for Operation Expanded Testing, it is a federally funded (free to all who want to participate) program available to a wide variety of settings such as congregate living (i.e., homeless shelters, domestic violence, substance treatment facilities, detention, or correctional facilities) as well as for students including daycares and historically black colleges & universities. You can find more information here.
I am a parent or guardian who wants this program to launch at my child’s Kindergarten through 12th Grade school, what should I do?
We are currently rolling out this program across the entire state of Alabama with points of contact at the district level first. If we have not yet reached out to your school or school district, we want to assure you that we plan to do so soon. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to your superintendent or head of school’s office and ask that they submit an inquiry to our team here.
