The Center for the Study of Community Health (CSCH) announces two current funding opportunities:

  1. The Community Health Scholars Pilot Grant Program is for preliminary CBPR projects, including demonstration projects, those for translation, preliminary data collection, program evaluation of community-based programs, training program development, and community health innovation and entrepreneur projects.  LOIs are currently being accepted on rolling basis and will be reviewed the 15th of every month from January to July.  See full RFP and instruction here.
  2. The UAB Center for Exercise Medicine (UCEM) & CSCH Joint Pilot Grant will fund pilot projects focusing on the intersection of exercise and community-based research.  Proposals will be accepted through June 25, 2023.  See full RFA and instructions here.
