Undergraduate Researchers


Lily is a senior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is majoring in neuroscience, minoring in chemistry, and completing a master’s in multidisciplinary biomedical science. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in cognitive science and language.

Julia Dominguez is a third-year student at the University of Alabama studying Political Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, and Public Administration. After graduation, Julia wants to enter a joint clinical psychology Ph.D. and J.D. program to focus on the neuroscience of intergenerational trauma, culturally conscious healing within the clinical setting, and writing equitable mental healthcare policies.

Grace is a chemistry major with a minor in neuroscience on the pre-med track at Alabama. After graduation, Grace plans on attending medical school and hopes to pursue a career in neurology.

Caroline is a sophomore majoring in Biology on a pre-med track, with a minor in interdisciplinary medical studies through the McCollough Institute of Pre-Med Scholars. Caroline plans to attend medical school after she graduates and become a neurologist. Caroline is interested in researching the difference in neuroanatomy between neurotypical individuals and people with ASD and examining how this affects social, behavioral, and cognitive abilities. She is also a member of the Alabama Autism Advocates group.
