  • Sen tapped to co-chair an expert review committee for the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine” – 1.26.21
  • 10.23.20 – WBRC 6 News features Sen’s JAMA Network Open study which found that, without stay-at-home orders, the U.S. could have seen 220% higher rates of COVID-19 infection & a 22% higher fatality rate
  • 9.21.20 – U.S. News & World Report features Sen’s team’s American Journal of Preventive Medicine study analyzing the role played by neighboring states’ firearm regulations in addition to own-state firearm regulations in firearm deaths
  • 10.14.20 – Medical Press features Sen’s team’s American Journal of Preventive Medicine study showing weaker firearm laws in neighboring states are correlated with more firearm deaths within a state
