About ATTIS
The Annual Translational and Transformative Informatics Symposium (ATTIS) is an event held by the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (DBIDS) which provides updates and insights in the world of bioinformatics research. ATTIS has covered a wide variety of topics, ranging from: bioinformatics education, cloud computing, biomedical research, clinical genomics, and other relevant applications that aim to systematically improve human health through research.
In its existence, ATTIS has hosted over 1,000 participants from across the globe and provided insight on the tremendous work that researchers have done through bioinformatics research. Each year for ATTIS provides the opportunity for professionals and trainees alike to participate in an environment where ideas are shared, providing the ability to collaborate and develop partnerships that will shape the future of healthcare. Trainees and researchers are provided the opportunities to contribute to ongoing dialogue through abstract presentations that reflect the innovative spirit of various fields. Our flashtalk sessions deliver rapid, compelling insights into groundbreaking research, while the poster sessions provide visual narratives of current scientific investigations.
