On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the Office of Public Health Practice within the School of Public Health will be sponsoring a field trip to the new State Public Health Laboratory in Prattville, Alabama. Come join us as we tour the laboratory, hear from leadership at ADPH about each bureau within ADPH – who they are and what they do, and network with ADPH representatives to learn more about their programs and initiatives. You will also learn more about job and internship opportunities within ADPH.  The bus will depart the SOPH at 7:15 AM SHARP via charter bus and will return by 5:00 PM. The cost of this trip is $10. This will cover your transportation to/from Prattville, snacks on the bus, and lunch. Cash or check payments can be made in person in RPHB 543 between the hours of 9 AM – 4 PM.
