| Chengcui Zhang received her Ph.D. from the School of Computer Sciences at Florida International University, Miami, Florida in May 2004. She also received her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the College of Computer Science in ZheJiang University, HangZhou, P. R. China, in March 1999 and July 1996, respectively. She works in the broad area of multimedia machine learning and data mining, multimedia security and forensics, geoinformatics, and applied biomedical informatics. She is the current Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Multimedia Computing and is a former Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Semantic Computing (TCSEM). She served as a conference General/Program chair for many IEEE conferences. She is the current Editor in Chief of International Journal of Multimedia Data Engineering and Management and an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing. She was promoted to a SIRI Fellow (Society of Information Reuse and Integration) in 2020. |
